I hold a Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science from Barry University in Miami Florida and have been nationally certified by the American College of Sports Medicine as a Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist and Certified Personal Trainer, and also hold the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification through the NSCA.
As a former Division II college basketball player and experience in competitive athletics since a young age, health & fitness has always been a part of my life. Helping people improve their health and fitness is what has fueled my ongoing passion for physical fitness and overall health and wellness.
I have gained experience having worked in corporate health clubs, clinical settings, non-profit organizations, as well as the public sector. In addition to the healthy general population, my clientele has included post-injury, post-cardiac rehabilitation, cancer patients, clients with controlled cardiovascular disease risk factors to include heart disease, overweight and obesity, hypertension, diabetes, and high blood cholesterol.
My passion for living a healthy life style helps keep me and my clients in top shape and provides a rewarding exercise experience.
“We tend to forget the importance of overall health and how we function on a day to day basis. How we look in the mirror is simply a by-product of taking care of ourselves. Improving overall health, functional capacity and decreasing the chance of injury or re-injury, are truly the most important services a Fitness Professional can provide.”
